I don’t know who needs to hear this right now, but Iβm going to say it with my whole chest.
Y’all better believe in yourself!!!
I’m not talking about that “live, laugh, love” Pinterest-board kind of belief. I’m not talking about some soft, fluffy, “maybe one day” kind of hope.
I’m talking about that deep-in-your-gut, 3 AM, “this-is-terrifying-but-I’m-doing-it-anyway” kind of belief.
Because here is the cold, hard truth: No one is coming.
No one is going to ride in on a white horse and “discover” you. No one is going to knock on your door and hand you your dream. No one is going to look at your half-finished project, your “silly little idea,” or your secret goal and give you the permission you’ve been waiting for.
You have to be the one. You are the one you have been waiting for.
You are sitting there, right now, doubting. You’re comparing your ‘Chapter 1’ to someone else’s ‘Chapter 20’. You’re scrolling through a highlight reel of curated successes and thinking it’s the whole story. You’re telling yourself, “I’m not ready,” “I’m not qualified,” “I’m not talented enough,” “I’m an imposter.”
Let me tell you something: Every single person you admire has felt that exact same way. The only difference between them and you is that they decided to do it anyway. They decided that their mission was more important than their doubt.
They believed in themselves when it was illogical. They believed in themselves when they were getting “no” after “no.” They believed in themselves first, and the world just caught up.
Believing in yourself isn’t arrogance. It’s not delusion. It is a decision.
It is a revolutionary act of self-preservation. It is the practical, necessary fuel you need to get out of bed and fight for the life you want.
You have to be your own biggest advocate. You have to be your own hype-man. You have to be the one who, when you get knocked down, looks in the mirror and says, “Get up. We’re not done.”
Stop waiting for a sign. You are the sign.
Stop waiting for the “right time.” The “right time” is now.
Stop waiting for someone else to co-sign your dreams. Pick up the pen and sign for them yourself.
That idea you have? It’s brilliant.
That move you’re scared to make? It’s the right one.
That “you” that you’re afraid to show the world? That is exactly the person we’ve all been waiting to see.
So, Iβm telling you one more time. Yβall better believe in yourself. Stop playing small. Stop second-guessing. Stop letting your fear be louder than your potential.
Bet on you. Go all in. The world is waiting.
