I absolutely had to make a full video to reply to this comment from @wolfgang_notthecook. I read as many comments as I can, but this one just… it genuinely made my day. The “for my big guys 😊” was so specific and so incredibly sweet, and I just wanted to say thank you.
It’s a two-way street, you know? I put my stuff out here, and the energy I get back from you all is what keeps me going. And honestly, the support from the “big guys” is always, always so solid. It’s a specific kind of supportive, respectful, positive energy that never, ever goes unnoticed. It’s a vibe, and I appreciate it more than you know. You guys know how to make someone feel seen and appreciated, and I want to send that exact same energy right back at you.
You asked, so you shall receive!
Your comment honestly gassed me up so much that I was feeling extra good. So, I did what you do when you’re feeling confident—I opened the camera, found this hilarious #elfitup filter (I don’t know what’s happening here, am I an elf? A fairy? Who cares!), and just started snapping pictures.
It’s funny how one nice comment from a stranger on the internet can completely turn your day around. It’s so easy to get bogged down in the negativity and the trolls, but then you get a message like this, and it’s a powerful reminder that there is so much genuine kindness out here, too. It costs nothing to be supportive. It costs nothing to build people up.
In a world that’s constantly trying to tell us we’re not enough—not thin enough, not buff enough, not rich enough, not something enough—taking a second to just feel good about yourself is a radical act. And taking a second to make someone else feel good? That’s how we change things.
So, this post is for you, @wolfgang_notthecook, and for all the big guys who bring that amazing, supportive energy. I see you, I appreciate you, and I hope this lands on your #fypp.
Thank you for giving me a reason to play with filters and feel myself. Sending so much love to all of you. #selfies
